- Use good web hosting. Many of our support tickets are due to customers using poor web hosts. We recommend and use ourselves this web host.
- Try to keep the number of affiliate links per post/page under 5. I prefer 3. You don’t want it looking spammy or Google may penalize your website or posts.
- Keep things natural. Add 2-3 posts everyday to your website. After a couple weeks, go 3-5. After a couple more weeks, 5-10.. etc.
- Start off with informational type posts first to show Google you want to provide information, not just get a commission. After 5-10 posts, start adding affiliate posts.
- Use a clean WordPress theme that’s easy to view and navigate.
- Always add in your standard pages: about, contact, privacy, disclosures, etc.
- Add a bio. Let Google know there’s a real person behind the website.
- Periodically look over the site and edit any changes you find that AI may not have done correctly. We can’t control 100% of what AI does and periodically it doesn’t follow the rules.
- Don’t spam your website with hundreds or thousands of backlinks from Fiverr or some platform. It will most likely destroy your website. Instead do it naturally. Start off with just a few or even do a press release to start building up a bit of authority.
- SEO takes months. Don’t expect to see crazy results in a few days or even a few weeks. Google needs time to understand your website and realize the type of content you provide. After it builds a bit of authority (3-6 months), you should see some impressive results.
